Park Explorers is conveniently located in the heart of Park Slope, Brooklyn, on the corner of 8th Avenue and 6th Street--accessible by many transportation options.

Camp Shuttle Bus:

AM Shuttle     No charge

PM Shuttle     $65 week per family at the same stop.

MTA Subway:

F/G train at 7th Avenue Station

(transfer to the F from the R at Fourth Ave / Ninth St

or from the A/C at Jay Street Metro Tech)

2/3 train at Grand Army Plaza

MTA Bus:

Routes begin at 7:00 AM. Campers must be on time; we cannot wait for late arrivals. Our shuttles are in Yellow School Buses. Counselors ride the the bus to monitor the campers in both morning and afternoon.

No camper will be dropped off unless an adult listed on the pickup permission form is present to sign for the child. If no designated adult is waiting at the stop, the camper will be brought back to the site. The camper is then to be picked up by 6:30 PM from the site and the daily after camp fee will be charged.

Our Shuttle bus stops are located where the demand is greatest. Call our office to find out whether we can set up a stop near you. Routes do not carry over from the previous summer. After May 15th, no new stops will be added for any reason. All campers must be signed up in advance for this service. Please note that all routes are subject to change.
