Park Explorers is conveniently located in the heart of Park Slope Brooklyn, on the corner of 8th Avenue and 6th Street. There are many transportation options.

MTA Subway:

The closest subway station is 7th Avenue, serviced by both the "F" and “G” Trains.

You can transfer to the "F" from:

R train at Ninth St / Fourth Ave

A or C trains at Jay St / Borough Hall

MTA Bus:

#63 Fifth Avenue bus

#67 Seventh Avenue bus

#69 Vanderbilt Avenue bus

#75 Smith Street bus

Shuttle Bus:

AM Shuttle     No charge

PM Shuttle     $65/week per family at the same stop.

Drop off options:

MANHATTAN : Am pickup at 14th Street F train

                            No cost (must have a  metro card)

                       Pm  drop off at 14th Street F Train

                            $65 per camper

BROOKLYN:

Routes begin at 7:10 AM. You must be on time; we will not wait for late campers. Our shuttles are in Yellow School Buses. Counselors are on the bus at all times unless told otherwise.

No camper will be dropped off without an adult listed on the pickup permission sheet present to sign for the child. If no one is present with permission to sign for the child when the bus arrives for drop off, the camper will be brought back to the site. The camper is then to be picked up by 6:30 PM from the site and the daily after camp fee will be charged.

Our Shuttle bus stops are located where the demand is greatest. Call our office to find out if we can have a stop near you. Each year the bus stops change. Routes do not carry over from the previous summer. All routes will be finalized by the end of May. After May no new stops will be added for any reason. All campers must be signed up in advance for this service. All routes are subject to change.
