All our groups have their own dedicated staff to allow for the personal attention each camper needs. Our Early Explorers have their own director educated in Early Childhood.
Groups are coed and separated by grade and age. Great counselor to camper ratios. Starting in 2nd grade, choices within the weekly schedule are offered for a more personalized program. Choices are given for art, sports, cooking, sewing, puppetry, nature & science, and performing arts. We have a very flexible weekly enrollment, therefore each Monday begins with meet and greet activities to help our newcomers feel welcome within their group.
Parents often request campers to be in the same group as their friends. This is not a problem, if they are in different grades or are different ages they will be put with the younger one.
At fifteen years old, once a camper has finished their first year of high school they are eligible to apply to our CIT program. This is an unpaid volunteer trainee position. CIT’s will receive a letter of community service for their time. To be eligible you must fill out the job application and be interviewed. There are limited spots available. CIT programs are open to everyone but priority goes to our returning campers.
